@kbin kbin is constantly returning 50x and 404 errors to me for the last few weeks. It's literally unusable, even for browsing. What's going on? Is it just me? should I move on to a different instance?
@ShadowRam Same goes for Lemmy. 0.19 seems to have produced some issues with outgoing federation, While most instances seem to be in the process of fixing this, the outgoing federation queues are days behind the curve in some cases.
@ExpertPlus when logged in, go to https://kbin.social/settings/profile. Scroll down and you can change your username. There's no separate display name at this point.
@BeardedPip It's what links with Mastodon. If you go to a community's Microblog page, you'll see a bunch of posts that you can trace back to Mastodon. How it shows up in that community is because the community looks for certain #tags. If a Mastodon post has that #tag and the community is accepting it, then that post will show up in the Microblog for that community.

Only so much i can do with userstyles , thought maybe forking instead so i can rearrange HTML , but instructions for setting up local env assume linux machine
@SamXavia There was a "mag grab" or "magazine rush" during the great redxit of 2023. Lots of users came in to grab some big names there were red-equivalent. There have been a few requests to delete these mags so active users can take them over.
